I’m Danica Zuks, and I’m from Perth, Western Australia. I have been photographing since I was a young tacker, but it’s been in the past 4 years that I made the effort to understand the tools I was using.
I’ve never had a job in photography (I’d love one if you’re offering, haha) and the only ‘training’ I’ve had is an short Tafe course (it wasn’t really worth it, anything that gives you a certificate of ‘attendance’ is probably a bit of waste of time, that said, it gave me some time to fiddle with Photoshop).
I am currently studying Linguistics and I’m in my honours year. I would love to get into photography, but since I have no formal study it seems unlikely at this stage. The future? I’m not sure, there are plans to get a PHD in the future, to be able to become a lecturer. But I also want to be able to make my hobby of photography something a bit more. If I get the opportunity.
I think, if I could have everything my way, I’d take photos and then when I got old I’d settle down to become a lecturer. But who knows?
